With Colin’s kit (AML EZ1073) and this case, I had my 1073 assembled and in my rack in less than a week. (I am meticulous and slow, it could probably be done in a weekend.) All the pots and switches are mounted to the PC board, so the fit is critical, and this case didn’t disappoint. The front panel fit the shafts like a glove, perfect. My only complaint (and it is trivial) is that I had to drill a hole for a power switch, but I’m guessing that the thinking behind that decision was that some people would use an external power supply. I will build a second one sometime soon. I highly recommend this case.

This case fits the EZ-1073 quite well. I’ve now built two of them and I’m extremely happy that I don’t have to build the case and the faceplate myself.

Excellent enclosure. Looks like vintage neve, especially with the marconi knobs from AML. Dan has great customer service. Highly recommend if wanting to build a legitimate 1073 clone.
